Birthday Celebration for James Dean – One of the Pioneers Who Inspired Wayfarer Popularity
Today one of the great actors of the 1950’s James Dean was born in 1931, and had he lived, today he would have turned 76. The actor died tragically in a car accident in 1955. He made three films which included East of Eden, Rebel Without A Cause and Giant and was nominated posthumously for an Academy Award Twice for his roles in Eden and Giant.
It is said that James Dean inspired the public’s love of the popular Ray Ban Wayfarer Style. He was not often pictured wearing sunglasses, except in a few distance shots with his Porsche Spyder (the car that he ended up in the accident with), but there were a number of photos of him wearing his regular eyewear, which was also his preferred style.
If you love this brand, check out our Replica Ray Ban Sunglasses selection. If you love the look that James Dean admired, we even have a Replica Ray Ban Wayfayer. It’s my guess that had James Dean lived, he’d be a 76 year old still sporting his favorite brand and style of eyewear.
